Athletes from almost all countries have arrived for the Commonwealth Games starting in Birmingham, England on 28 July.
With the return of cricket after 24 years in the Commonwealth Games, the Indian team will this time prove itself in the medal race under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur.
The team has reached Birmingham under the leadership of Herman. The team left for Birmingham on the morning of 24 July.
The team is led by Harmanpreet Kaur while vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has been made.
Commonwealth Games 2022: Fans wished well before leaving.
When the team was leaving for the purpose of winning gold, a large crowd of fans was present at the airport to wish the team. Fans gave their team a loud farewell.
Team player Jemima Rodriguez posted a picture on Twitter showing the entire team leaving for Birmingham. The team has reached Birmingham.
The vice-captain of the team, Smriti Mandhana, had expressed hope before leaving that the team would try to perform better and try to win gold.
The team will start the campaign on 29.
The Indian women’s team will start its campaign at the Commonwealth Games on July 29. The first match will be against the Australian team while the second match is expected to be very interesting.
