Indian Coast Guard Director General VS Pathania met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday.

During this meeting, Pathania discussed with the Defense Minister the operational preparedness of the maritime force and the preparedness to ensure security at sea.

Coast Guard DG VS Pathania also met Navy Chief.

Apart from the Defense Minister, VS Pathania also met Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar.

According to the Indian Navy, they discussed issues related to coastal security and effective coordination between the Navy and the Coast Guard.

CBI files supplementary charge sheet in Pearls Group scam.

CBI has filed a supplementary charge sheet against 24 persons in connection with the Rs 60,000 crore ponzi scam allegedly perpetrated by Pearls Group.

Officials gave this information on Wednesday. He said that in the charge sheet filed in the special CBI court.

The central probe agency has also named three companies Pearls Infrastructure Projects Limited, ARSS Infrastructure Projects Limited, and Jain Infra Projects Limited.

The supplementary charge sheet names the 11 accused businessmen who were arrested on December 22, 2021.

CBI spokesperson RC Joshi alleged that Pearls Group companies allegedly duped investors of around Rs 60,000 crore (approximately Rs 60,000 crore).

The group operated various investment schemes without any statutory approvals and allegedly with the intention of duping investors.

It was said that the accused were co-conspirators in this scam, who helped the main accused and others in illegally operated investment schemes to earn money quickly and easily.

Investors were encouraged to invest their money in such investment schemes which offered attractive returns.

Apart from the three companies, Pearls Group executives Harchand Singh Gill, Chandra Bhushan Dhillon, Prem Seth, Gurjant Singh Gill, Balvir Singh, Tarlochan Singh.

Mohanlal Sahajpal, Kanwaljit Singh Toor, Gurpratap Singh, Harsatinder Pal Singh Haier, Sukhwinder Kaur, Barinder Kaur, Gurnam Singh and Joginder Tiger.
