Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi, the date of swearing-in may be decided today: Yogi Government 2.0.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a two-day visit to Delhi since Sunday after the Bharatiya Janata Party got a thumping majority in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President JP Nadda, Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday,

The date of the swearing-in of the new government in Uttar Pradesh and the members of the cabinet can also be decided today.

On Monday, on the second day of his stay in New Delhi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari at his residence.

During this, Gadkari congratulated CM Yogi Adityanath on the success of BJP in Uttar Pradesh and welcomed him with a bouquet. The talks between them lasted for about 45 minutes.

After meeting Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath left for Rashtrapati Bhavan.

After a courtesy call on the President, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also meet Union Ministers, Dharmendra Pradhan, and Anurag Thakur.

Pradhan was in-charge of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections and Thakur was co-in-charge.

Earlier on Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi.

During this, Amit Shah welcomed Yogi Adityanath by presenting a bunch of flowers and congratulated him for a big victory.

In the two-day visit of Yogi Adityanath to Delhi, along with fixing the date of oath of his government, the names of the members of his cabinet are also being discussed.

It is believed that this time there can be three deputy CMs in the cabinet. Along with this, more than two dozen ministers will also be administered the oath.

There could be a dozen brand new faces among them too.

Yogi Adityanath will meet these leaders and consult about the new cabinet to be held in the state.

It is expected that new faces can get a chance in the new cabinet, while party office-bearers who work hard in the elections will also be given a chance.

After the defeat of Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, now he will also be posted at some big place. Along with this, other ministers who have lost will also be considered in Delhi.

Many of these can be sent to the Legislative Council, while a lost minister will also be given a place in the place of nine Rajya Sabha members who are vacant.
