Central Government Has Announced Police Medals

Central Government has announced Police Medals on the occasion of Independence Day.

1,380 police personnel will get medals, ITBP also gave information about the soldiers honored.

The countrymen are ready to make a splash on the occasion of India’s Independence Day. This time 75th anniversary of independence is being celebrated as Amrit Mahotsav.

In view of this, many programs have started and some are to be held on August 15, for which preparations are being made.

Meanwhile, like every year, this time also the information about the number of soldiers to be given medals has also come to the fore.

On the occasion of Independence Day, the Central Government has announced Police Medal for Gallantry to 662 police personnel, President’s Police Medal for Gallantry to 628 personnel.

President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service to 88 personnel, and Police Medal for Meritorious Service to 662 personnel. 

It has been told that a total of 1,380 police personnel will get medals on the occasion of Independence Day 2021.

Apart from this, some information related to this has also been given by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) force.

According to ITBP, ’23 ITBP personnel have been awarded Police Medal for Gallantry on 75th Independence Day.

Of these, 20 have been awarded for bravery in the skirmishes in Eastern Ladakh in May-June, 2020.

It was reported that this is the highest gallantry medal for ITBP given for the bravery of its jawans in face-offs/ skirmishes/ border security duties at the border.

At the same time, on the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, the initiative of PM i.e. on August 15, the plan to celebrate Amrit Mahotsav has started in the form of many programs across the country.

On the completion of 75 years of Independence Day, Amrit Mahotsav is being celebrated across the country. In this sequence, preparations for the function are going on in Madhya Pradesh also.

The national flag was also being put up at the Municipal Corporation office at Maharaj Bada, Gwalior on Saturday.

But the hydraulic machine on which the tricolor was being mounted broke down and three people died on the spot.

At the same time, the people injured in the accident were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

Let us tell you that the historical building of Maharaja Bada is decorated every year on the occasion of Independence Day.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the accident on Twitter.
