Congress leader and Supreme Court lawyer Brijesh Kalappa on Wednesday resigned citing his “lack of energy and enthusiasm” towards the party.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Kalappa wrote, “First of all, I want to thank you wholeheartedly for the many opportunities you have provided me.
If I am recognized as a familiar face in all parts of this extraordinarily vast nation, it is indeed possible because of your patronage.
I thank you again for having been appointed as the Legal Adviser to the Government of Karnataka with the rank of Minister.

The CM said that appropriate action would be taken after receiving the report on this entire matter.
