Brazil registers a third consecutive win, beat Colombia 2-1: Copa America 2021.

The winning journey of the host Brazil team in the prestigious football tournament Copa America Cup continues.

In a match played on Thursday, Brazil defeated Colombia to register its third consecutive victory.

The match was very tense where Brazil defeated Colombia 2–1. Both Colombia and Brazil have made it to the next round.

For Colombia in the 10th minute, Luis Diaz passed the ball to Juan Cuadrado and he surprised Brazil by scoring a goal through a bicycle from the goalkeeper’s box.

After this Colombia started playing defensively and it looked like Colombia would beat Brazil but the samba team came back with two goals in the end.

Meanwhile, Neymar’s pass hit Argentine referee Nestor Pitana’s knee. Pitana was 10 meters from the Colombia goal post in the 78th minute.

The Colombian defender paused briefly but Brazilian substitute Lucas Paqueta handed the ball to Rennan Lodi, who crossed Roberto Firmino. Firmino scored with a header.

Colombia protested but Pitana, who was the referee of the 2018 World Cup final, confirmed Brazil’s goal.

Neymar then sent the ball to Colombia’s goal post with a corner kick and Casemiro, standing there, scored a header in injury time (90+10th minute) to give Brazil victory.

In other matches, Peru and Ecuador played out a 2-2 draw. Brazil is in first place with nine points. Colombia has four points from four matches.

Peru has four points, Ecuador has three and Venezuela has two points.

BCCI is considering this plan for IPL 2021, the remaining matches will be held in UAE.
