Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’ has been badly embroiled in controversies. Now the film will not be released on September 6. The Bombay High Court refused to direct the Censor Board to issue a certificate immediately. The Bombay High Court said that if this is done then it would be a denial of the order of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Let us tell you that till now Kangana Ranaut’s film has not received the censor certificate.

Bombay High Court Denies Immediate Censor Certificate: Order to decide on objections by September 18

During the hearing, the Bombay High Court said that it cannot direct the CBFC to issue a certificate, as the Madhya Pradesh High Court has already ordered the Censor Board to decide on the objections lodged by the Jabalpur Sikh Sangat. The Sikh Sangat has objected to the film and its trailer. The High Court has ordered the CBFC to decide on the objections raised by the Jabalpur Sikh Sangat or anyone else by September 18.

Zee Entertainment had filed the petition

Let us tell you that CBFC did not issue a certificate for Kangana Ranaut’s film. After this, Zee Entertainment Enterprises knocked on the door of Bombay High Court. The company appealed to the High Court to issue a censor certificate. But the High Court refused.

Zee Entertainment is the producer of the film Emergency. In the petition, the company claimed that CBFC had arbitrarily stopped the certification. The petition was heard by a division bench of Justice BP Colabawala and Firdosh Pooniwala.
