Boiler explodes in snacks factory in Muzaffarpur’s Bela, death toll reaches 11.
The boiler exploded at around 8 am on Sunday at a snacks factory located in Bela Industrial Area, Phase-II of Muzaffarpur.
There has been a lot of damage to life and property due to this. So far, the mutilated bodies of 08 laborers have been removed, while half a dozen injured are being admitted to Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital.
After reaching there 03 injured died. Relief and rescue work is on. All the police officers including DM, SSP are present at the spot. State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has also been reached.
The explosion was so strong that an earthquake-like feeling was felt in an area four to five kilometers away from the factory.
The entire factory has turned into rubble. Nearby factories have also suffered significant damage. The factory area has been sealed.
City MLA Vijendra Chaudhary and Mayor Rakesh Kumar have also reached. Many products like noodles, snacks were made in a factory called Anshul Noodles.
It is being told that when this incident happened, 25 workers were present in the boiler room. The cleaning work was going on during the shifting.
The explosion was so strong that due to this the surrounding earth also shook. Due to which the people here felt the earthquake. Some people even went out of their homes.
However, later it was found that the earth was shaken due to the boiler explosion. Several people are reported to have been injured in this incident.
However, this is not being confirmed from anywhere as of now. The information about how many people were working inside the factory at the time of the incident is not yet available.
After getting information about the incident, the fire brigade team has reached there. Relief and rescue work has been intensified.

Neighbors told that there was a loud sound of boiler explosion first. For four km, the window and door of the house were shaken.
The police team has arrived. Only after going inside, it will be known how many people have lost their lives. Whose relatives are working at this place? They have reached here.
Everyone is searching for their loved ones. Due to which there is a situation of chaos around the factory.
Administration officials are stopping people from going inside. After getting information about the incident, the Mayor and MLA have also reached the spot.
