BJP State President Ashwani Sharma’s car attacked in Ferozpur, farmers reached barricades. BJP leaders in Punjab are facing farmers’ opposition.

In Ferozepur, farmers once again attacked the vehicle of the party’s Punjab head Ashwani Sharma. However, the police are denying the attack.

Ashwani Sharma had reached City Plaza on Malwal Road to meet party workers for the city council elections.

The farmers were already sitting on a dharna outside the palace on the information of the BJP state president’s arrival. On the arrival of Ashwani Sharma, the farmers removed the barricading imposed by the police.

During this, the police also used mild force on the farmers. Farmers also tried to remove the turban of former BJP MLA Sukhpal Singh Nannu.

Farmer leader Harnek Singh Atith said that the attackers were not farmers, but were anti-social elements. At the same time, the police denied the attack on Sharma’s car.

Let us tell you that on Nawanshahr’s last day, farmers were opposed to the program of BJP state president Ashwani Sharma. Seeing the uproar, Ashwani Sharma canceled the program.

BJP state president Ashwani Sharma then said in Nangal that the Congress was taking the wrong advantage of the Kisan agitation.

On receiving information about Ashwani Sharma’s arrival, the farmers reached Pandora Mohalla shouting slogans. There was also a furor between police and farmers.

 Vijay Sampala’s convoy was also attacked

Former Union Minister Vijay Sampla also faced opposition from the farmers union in Moga last day.

The police and protesters clashed here. Seeing the protest, Sampala left his tour midway. Police drove out the protesters and took out a Former Union Minister’s convoy. Sampla was to address the election meeting here.
