BJP President Nadda will start ‘Ek Fist Rice Collection’ campaign in East Bardhaman district of Bengal today.
BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda will start the party’s “A handful of rice collection” campaign from the East Bardhaman district of Bengal on Saturday.
After that, he will also have lunch at the home of a farmer family. According to a statement issued by the state BJP, Nadda will arrive at Andal Airport on Saturday morning at 11 am.
He will be welcomed here by senior state BJP leaders and local workers. Nadda will reach Bardhaman by road from Andal.
During this time he will conduct a road show and will also address the meeting of the core committee of the party.
After reaching Bardhaman, Nadda will first offer prayers at the famous Sri Radha Gobind Temple near Katwa in East Bardhaman.
He is scheduled to arrive at this temple at 11:40. Thereafter, in the district’s Jagdanandpur village from 11:50 am, addressing the “Farmer Safety” Gram Sabha.
The BJP will start 40,000 meetings to be organized before the assembly elections across the state. : From 45 hrs, we will go door-to-door to launch a ‘fist rice collection’ campaign.
He will spend the day with the farmers in the Bardhaman district. “The BJP leader said that under this program, the party will reach home to 73 lakh farmers of the state before the 2021 assembly elections.
He said, “A handful rice collection campaign shows farmers’ commitment to BJP.” Nadda again has a program to have lunch at the home of a peasant family in Jagadnandpur village at 1:00 pm.
“Nadda’s program is taking place at a time when against the three agricultural laws of the Center on various boundaries of Delhi Farmers’ performance has been going on for the last four weeks.
After this, Nadda will also do a road show from 3:10 pm from Bardhaman Clock Tower to Lord Curzon Gate.
After the roadshow, he has a darshan puja program at Sarvamangala Temple in Bardhaman from 4:20 pm.
As per the schedule, Nadda will also address a press conference at Bardhaman at 5:30 pm at the end of the one-day tour.
Then discuss the strategy of the assembly election on a meeting with members of the party’s core committee.
It is known that the West Bengal Assembly elections are due in the middle of this year.
The party is trying hard to overthrow the ruling Trinamool Congress government there. After winning 18 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP’s enthusiasm has increased further.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also visiting the state every month to give a boost to the election campaign in the state.
