BJP MLAs again demand the resignation of NCP leader Nawab Malik, protest outside the Maharashtra assembly.

Maharashtra BJP MLAs are again protesting outside the assembly today demanding the resignation of NCP leader Nawab Malik.

Let us inform you that Nawab Malik has been kept in ED custody till March 7 in the money laundering case related to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

Last Friday too, Maharashtra BJP MLA had protested outside the assembly demanding the resignation of Nawab Malik.

It is worth noting that former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has made a scathing attack on Nawab Malik regarding this matter.

Recently, Fadnavis said that for the first time in Maharashtra, a minister is inside the jail, yet his resignation was not accepted.

Fadnavis said that why the government does not want to accept the resignation of Nawab Malik, who has been jailed for nexus with Dawood’s family, this is a Dawood dedicated government.

BJP MLAs again demand the resignation: Nawab Malik was arrested on 23 February.

Nawab Malik, a minister in the Maharashtra government and NCP leader, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on February 23 in a money laundering case involving Dawood Ibrahim.

After which the special court sent him to ED custody till March 3. On Thursday, the court extended the custody of Nawab Malik till March 7.

The ED has alleged that Nawab Malik hatched a conspiracy with Dawood Ibrahim’s aides- Haseena Parkar, Salim Patel, and Sardar Khan. The ED had claimed that the value of this ancestral property is around Rs 300 crore.

Money Laundering Case: NCP leader Nawab Malik sent to judicial custody by PMLA court

Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik have been sent to judicial custody by a special PMLA court in Mumbai.
