Congress leader Siddaramaiah wrote to PM Modi, said – Corona vaccination should be ensured for all free of cost.

Congress leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday wrote a letter urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure free corona vaccination of every Indian.

Explain that the price of corona vaccine to be set up in private hospitals and centers by the central government has been fixed at Rs 250 per dose.

He has also urged to revisit this decision. The Congress leader said that it is necessary to make vaccines available to all.

Siddaramaiah also said in his letter that India has approved two vaccines, but the progress of vaccination is very slow. India has so far vaccinated only 0.5 percent or less of the population.

At the same time, other countries are making huge efforts to increase immunity among their people about the corona.

Israel has vaccinated a population of 36 percent, the US 6 percent and the UK 4 percent. The boom in vaccination in India can be brought to the people by providing a wide range of free vaccines.

Attempts to prevent the spread of corona vaccination and infection will be adversely affected.

Siddaramaiah further said that the central government’s decision to allow private healthcare centers to take Rs 250 to vaccinate would adversely affect Corona vaccination and efforts to prevent the spread of infection.

More than 70 percent of the population will have difficulty purchasing the vaccine. This will affect the vaccine’s reach to everyone. This can become a hindrance to our fight against pandemics.

The Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly said that corona vaccination is free in many countries around the world, including Brazil.

Canada, the US, and the UK, and that speed administration is the right way to ensure rapid vaccination of people.
