BCCI Top Council To Discuss Home Series Against England

BCCI top council to discuss home series against England on 17 October. In the online meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on October 17, the upcoming home series against England, the tour of Australia, and the domestic season will be discussed.

Board President Sourav Ganguly had said that the BCCI will try its best to make the series against England in India. Along with this, domestic tournaments could be held despite the circumstances arising out of the coronavirus epidemic.

Coronavirus infection cases in India are around seven million and more than one lakh deaths have been reported.

The England team has to come to India to play five Tests, three ODIs and three T20 matches between January and March next year. There is also speculation that this series will be held in the UAE due to increasing cases of corona infection in India. IPL 2020 is also being played here.

If India is able to host, bio-bubble can be made at three international stadiums in Mumbai, Wankhede, CCI and DY Patil Stadium. The state-of-the-art Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad is also an option.

The board had planned to start the domestic season through the Mushtaq Ali Trophy from 19 November, but it seems difficult given the current situation due to the epidemic.

Meanwhile, the schedule for the tour of Australia has been announced. The tour of India will begin with the start of the ODI series from 25 November. During this time, the Indian team will play Test with pink ball for the first time abroad.

This test will be from 17 to 21 December. The Boxing Day Test (26–30 December) between the two teams will take place in Melbourne. This will be followed by Test matches in Sydney (7–11 January) and Brisbane (15–19 January). Indian and Australian players will leave for Brisbane directly from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after the IPL ends on 10 November.

Second match of the day between Bangalore and Chennai

Two matches will be played today in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). The second match of the day will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Let me tell you that IPL 2020 is being organized in UAE due to the Corona virus (COVID-19) epidemic. In the tournament, the Virat Kohli-led Bangalore team played five matches and won five, finishing fifth. At the same time, the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai team is in sixth place in the points table after winning two out of six matches.
