BCCI Made It Clear That Indian Team Will Not Play Fourth Test

BCCI made it clear that Indian team will not play for the fourth test in Brisbane, this condition placed in front of Cricket Australia.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has made it clear to Cricket Australia that it will not play the Test in Brisbane.

If Cricket Australia wants the Indian team to go to Brisbane for the fourth Test match, then it must decide that the players get a concession in the quarantine rule.

On Thursday itself, it has been made clear by the BCCI that the team will not go to play the fourth Test as per strict rules.

The fourth and last match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia is to be played in Brisbane from 15 January.

A senior BCCI official has confirmed that Cricket Australia has been informed in writing that the team can cancel the plan to go to Brisbane.

The Indian team has already spent two weeks in quarantine after reaching Australia, so it will no longer follow the strict quarantine rule.

Emphasizing that life in Australia is normal, the official said that when the locals are living their lives in a normal way then why would the Indian team players be kept locked in the hotel.

Significantly, on behalf of the Queensland government, it was said that if the Indian team does not want to follow strict rules, then they should not come to play in Brisbane.

While the Indian team is not allowed outside the hotel room in Sydney, the outside world is normal.

People are going out in Sydney and doing the same things as before while the Indian team has been instructed to stay in Bio Security.

Although the highest number of cases of corona were seen in Northern Beach, the life of people is normal here.

According to an official, the Indian team management has told the BCCI that the team’s stay in the hotel room has become very stressful for everyone.

That is why they should be exempted from such strict quarantine rules.
