Baramulla Firing Incident: One Youth Injured In Azad Ganj Locality

Baramulla Firing Incident: Shot fired in suspicious circumstances in Baramulla Azad Ganj locality.

A local youth was seriously injured in a bullet fired under suspicious circumstances in Azad Ganj locality of district Baramulla.

No clear information has been received so far about where the bullet came from and who fired it.

However, the police have started the investigation by registering a case in this regard. The injured youth has been admitted to Srinagar hospital.

According to the information received from the police, a sudden firing incident occurred in Azad Ganj locality after this afternoon.

On hearing the sound of the bullet, at first, the local people thought that the terrorists had attacked, but when no bullet was heard for a long time.

The people came out and saw that a local youth was lying on the injured ground. The youth has been identified as Iqbal Colony, a resident of Mosin.

Baramulla Firing Incident: As of now, there is no clear information about who shot the young man.

The injured youth was first rushed to the nearest hospital with the help of local people, from where he was given first aid and sent to Srinagar hospital.

Minutes after the attack, SOG of Police, Army, and CRPF personnel reached the spot and started a search by cordoning off the Azad Ganj area.

At the same time, the police have also started the investigation by registering a case in this regard.

Army Helicopter Crash: Second helicopter pilot of Sainik School Nagrota martyred, Major Rohit was a student of 1996 batch

Army Major Rohit Kumar, who was martyred in a helicopter crash near Patnitop, was a 1996 batch officer of Sainik School Nagrota.

In such a situation, there is an atmosphere of sorrow in Sainik School Nagrota due to his martyrdom.

He is the second student of Sainik School Nagrota to be martyred in a helicopter crash in the last five years.

Prior to him in November 2016, Major Arvind Bajala of RSpura in Jammu district was martyred in the crash of an Army Cheetah helicopter in Sukna, West Bengal.

Major Rohit, one of the two pilots killed in a helicopter crash due to bad weather in Patnitaap on Tuesday, was a resident of Ghagwal in Samba district.

Rohit, who dreamed of joining the army since childhood, had joined Sainik School Nagrota in the sixth grade in the year 1996. About twenty years ago his family had settled in western Noida.

Even though Major Rohit and his family no longer live in Samba, but when the news of Rohit’s martyrdom reached their village, the whole village became inconsolable.
