Australia flood crisis: Prime Minister Anthony Albanese visits flood-affected areas.

The Victoria State Emergency Service said about 750 people across the state had been rescued in the past 10 days.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Saturday that 150 Australian Defense Force personnel were assisting in New South Wales and 350 in Victoria.

After flooding in the suburbs near Melbourne’s central business district, Albany visited flood-hit parts of Victoria with the state’s prime minister, Daniel Andrews.

Treasurer Jim Chalmers said on Friday that the floods would hit Australia’s economic growth and increase inflation.

Flood warnings had been issued for Victoria, southern New Wales, and northerly regions of Tasmania. 60 Australian Defense Force employees are engaged in aid.

Tim Weibush, leader working officer of the Victoria State Emergency Service, stated the nation is dealing with flooding because of heavy rains.
