According to sources, a child is also among the dead. The attack took place in District 3 of Jalalabad. It is said that among those killed were two security personnel and two civilians, one of whom is a child.

Earlier on Friday, there was an explosion in Charikar city.

Bilal Karimi, the deputy head working under the Zabihullah Mujahid, said the blast was aimed at the vehicle of the Islamic Emirati military force.

According to Karimi, the security forces reached the spot after the blast and started the search operation. During this, the whereabouts of one of the Daesh fighters came to light.

Karimi said some fighters were present in the hideout, some of whom were killed and some were arrested. He also said that five members of the Islamic Emirati security forces were injured in the blast.

Sources say that hundreds of Afghan refugees have begun to evacuate camps before they can get to the US resettlement service.

However, a spokeswoman for the US Department of Homeland Security says the only people leaving the camp are people who are known to live where and with whom they can find their livelihood.
