Andhra Pradesh police found the mother and returned girl, 16 months after the father sold the daughter, read full case details. The Andhra Pradesh Police successfully handed over the one-year-old girl to her mother, whose husband sold her daughter 16 months ago in Vallasapalli village of Mussunuru Mandal in Krishna district.

According to the report, a woman recently came to know that her daughter was sold by her husband a year ago after which the woman lodged a police complaint. While the case is under investigation, the police find the girl and hand them over.

The case came to light from Valsapalli village in Musunuru Mandal in Krishna district. Rajni is the wife of Naveen Babu. They have three daughters. Rajni delivered a baby girl 16 months ago. While she was in the hospital, her husband sold the three-day-old girl to some distant relatives.

This was hidden by Naveen and his parents. At the same time, Rajni and Naveen’s marital life was not good, he used to fight with her. Two weeks ago, Rajni filed a domestic violence case against her husband. It was told that a few days ago there was a clash between Naveen and his parents over the cash.

Rajni then learns that Naveen had sold her daughter for Rs 1.50 lakh. When she asked her in-laws and husband about the fourth daughter, they were beaten. Rajni ran away from her in-laws. She went to Mussunuru police station with her parents on 30 August and complained about the sale of her daughter.

Sub Inspector Raja Reddy said that Rajni has complained to us that her fourth daughter was sold on the third day of delivery without her knowledge. We registered a case and inquired about it. We came to know that the baby girl is near Dasharatha and Sunita in Golapalli village. We went to Golapalli. There he said that he had adopted the child 3 days after the birth.

Now the age of the child is one year and four months. As the couple did not follow the legal process of adoption properly, the girl child will be handed over to parents and parents in the presence of ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services) staff. We will investigate the matter and take appropriate legal action. Then this morning, Mussunuru Sub Inspector from Dasaratha and Sunita retrieved the baby girl and handed it over to her mother.
