Andaman & Nicobar Island Named on Paramvir Chakra Awardees: On the occasion of Parakram Diwas, PM Modi has announced the name of 21 unnamed islands of Andaman and Nicobar Islands after Paramvir Chakra awardees.

Major Vikram Batra`s name is also included in this list, due to which Siddharth Malhotra, who plays the role of Vikram Batra on the big screen, is very happy.
