Akshay Kumar announces the new movie ‘Selfie’ with Emraan Hashmi.

In the year 2022, Akshay Kumar has made the first big announcement by taking a selfie with Emraan Hashmi.

Two of the best actors from the industry are coming together for the first time in Karan Johar’s Selfie. The film is being directed by Raj Mehta, who made Good News with Akshay Kumar.

Karan has also shared the announcement teaser of the film, in which Akshay and Emraan Hashmi are grooving to the title track.

With the announcement video, Karan told that the shooting of the film is going to start soon.

Selfie is a remake of the Malayalam film.

Selfie is the official remake of the Malayalam movie Driving Licence. The film directed by Lal Jr. starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Sooraj Venjaramoodu in the lead roles.

It was also co-produced by Prithviraj. The film released in 2019 was a big hit. The film is about a superstar and a motor vehicle inspector who is a Jabra fan of the superstar.

A superstar needs a driving license in an emergency. The inspector tries to help her, but when the two meet, things go off the rails.

Akshay announced by taking a selfie with Emraan Hashmi.

Earlier, Akshay posted a picture on social media, in which he is riding a bike on a deserted road. Together Emraan Hashmi is on another bike and Akshay is taking a selfie.

With this picture, Akshay wrote – I have found the perfect selfie partner for myself. Akshay tagged Karan Johar in this photo and asked, are we looking murderers in this selfie game.

So many films of Akshay and Emraan came in 2021.

Films like Akshay Kumar’s Bellbottom, Sooryavanshi, and Atrangi Re were released in the year 2021.

While Bellbottom and Sooryavanshi came to the OTT platform after their theatrical release, Atrangi Re was released directly on OTT.

Bellbottom remained cool in theaters due to its release in the middle of the pandemic, but Sooryavanshi, which was released after theaters opened in Maharashtra, was a huge success.

The film made a net collection of around 195 crores.

At the same time, in 2021, Imran was seen in Mumbai Saga, Chehre, and Dibuk. Mumbai Saga and Chehre were released in theatres. Dibook came directly on the OTT platform.

Akshay had earlier posted a selfie of himself, which was taken in the background of Marine Drive in Mumbai.

Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, and Ram Setu are set to release in 2022. Apart from this, he has also started shooting for Oh My God 2.

Prithviraj was scheduled to release on January 21, but the release was postponed due to restrictions on theaters after the Corona case escalated.
