Indian all-rounder Axar Patel’s unbeaten half-century helped Team India beat West Indies by 2 wickets in a thrilling second ODI and won the ODI series with an unbeatable 2-0 lead.

Axar Patel bowled well in the first innings as well and in the second innings, he batted brilliantly and ensured the team’s victory by hitting a six.

He was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’ for his all-around performance.

At the same time, when it came to batting in the second innings, his fierce form was seen and he is also known for this kind of batting.

In this match full of ups and downs, Axar came to bat at number seven and first scored the first half-century of his ODI cricket career in 27 balls 

By playing the team won two balls already. During this innings, the strike rate of Axar Patel was 182.86.

28-year-old Axar Patel scored his first half-century in the 40th match of his ODI cricket career and it also proved to be his best score so far in ODIs.

The all-round performance of  Axar Patel made him  ‘Player of the match: India created history by leaving Pakistan behind and won the 12th consecutive ODI series against West Indies

India captured this bilateral series by winning the first two matches of the three-match ODI series under the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan.

With this series win, the Indian cricket team broke Pakistan’s world record and made it their name.

In fact, now the Indian cricket team has become the number one team in the world for most consecutive bilateral series wins against a single team.
