Akshar Patel is happy to contribute to the team’s win with the ball if not with the bat: Ind vs Eng.

The left-arm spinner Akshar Patel was the hero of the Indian team’s victory in the Day-Night Test match against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera.

Akshar Patel has said that he is happy that he is contributing to the victory of the Indian team, at least not with the bat. India beat England by 10 wickets on the basis of a superb performance by the spin bowlers.

Akshar Patel, playing the first international match at his home ground, took six wickets in the first innings of the match and five wickets in the second innings.

This earned him the title of man of the match. Akshar said after the match, “It feels great when this kind of performance happens, but when it’s not, it feels very difficult. I think I should continue this form right now.”

Patel has said, “I am not thinking much about what is difficult and what is easy. I am very happy that I have contributed to the team’s victory, if not with the bat, at least with the ball.”

Arunachal Pradesh scored 225 runs losing six wickets in the prescribed 50 overs. Samad Fallah took two wickets for Uttarakhand.
