Ingredients:
- Fish (boneless, cut into cubes) – 500 gms
- Ajwain – 1 tsp
- Curd – 1/2 cup (whipped)
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
- Mustard oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Butter or ghee – for baking or frying
Method:
- In a large bowl, mix curd, ajwain, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chilli, turmeric, garam masala, mustard oil, and salt.
- Add the fish pieces to this mixture and marinate well.
- Cover it and keep it in the fridge for at least 1 hour (or overnight).
- Now cook these fish pieces on a grill, tandoor, air fryer, or tawa on medium flame by applying butter or ghee until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with green chutney, onion rings, and lemon.
