After the hijab, politics can be sparked in Karnataka for the inclusion of Bhagavad Gita in the syllabus.

After the recent hijab controversy in Karnataka, now the government there is going to take a big decision.

The education minister of the state says that his government is going to introduce Bhagavad Gita in the syllabus of school education on the lines of Gujarat.

In this statement from the government, Congress leader in the state and former Union Education Minister says that it is not wrong to include religious books in the syllabus.

However, he also said that India is a country where people of many religions live.

During a conversation with the leading media agency, he said that all religious books teach religion. You cannot say that only Bhagavad Gita teaches religion and Indian culture and traditions.

Rahman said that all kinds of religious books should be read to the students. He also said that the government has its own self-interest behind making Gita a part of the syllabus.

He said that the new education policy is only Hindutva-based and nothing else. Let us tell you that the hijab controversy that has arisen in Karnataka is not completely over yet.

The Karnataka High Court has ruled in favor of the government in this case, while the other side has challenged this decision in the Supreme Court.

At the same time, the possibility of a controversy over the decision to include Geeta in the syllabus has also started raising the house.

This is also because even during the hijab controversy, Congress had tried to give it a political and religious color.

The government has taken this decision at a time when the issue of hijab controversy is already suspended in the Supreme Court.

Let us also tell you here that this controversy started from the Udupi district of Karnataka after the Karnataka government banned the hijab in all educational institutions.
