Security Forces Arrested Three Terrorists From Sopore

Security forces arrested three terrorists from Sopore. Terrorist conspiracy to kill innocent people on Eid failed, three terrorists were arrested from Sopore.

Security forces arrested three terrorists, foiling a terrorist plot of serial target killing during Eid in Sopore in North Kashmir and summer capital Srinagar.

All three have been apprehended in Haigam, Sopore in North Kashmir and they belong to Lashkar-e-Taiba’s hit squad The Resistance Front (TRF).

Giving information about the whole matter, a police spokesman said that news was received this evening that three terrorists were going from Sopore to Srinagar.

These three terrorists are trying to implement the conspiracy of target killing some special people apart from panchayat representatives on the auspicious occasion of Eid in Sopore and Srinagar.

To catch them, the police, along with the 29 RR of the army, put up special blocks on certain routes.

These nakas were put up on the inner roads which act as connectivity between Sopore-Srinagar.

On Monday night, around 8 o’clock, the soldiers sitting near Haigam saw three youths passing through an orchard.

The soldiers immediately challenged them and asked them to stop and reveal their identities.

On hearing the cries of the soldiers, all three stopped and then started running backward in the garden with great speed.

The soldiers chased the trio, alerting all the nearby Naka parties and creating a blockade. Within no time all the three terrorists were caught.

They have been identified as Tehfeem Riaz, Seerat Shahbaz Mir, and Rameez Ahmed Khan. Three pistols, cartridges, and other accessories were recovered from the trio.

During initial interrogation, all three told that they were on a mission to execute the conspiracy to kill panchayat representatives and workers of other states.

The interrogation of the three was going on till late in the night. Other details are awaited.
