Defamation Case Filed In Chandigarh Court Against Sidhu

Defamation case filed in Chandigarh court against Navjot Singh Sidhu before voting for Punjab elections, defamation case filed in Chandigarh court: Punjab Election 2022.

Before the Punjab assembly elections, Congress state president Navjot Singh Sidhu has been surrounded.

In December last year, Punjab Pradesh Congress President Navjot Sidhu had mocked the Punjab Police at the election rally of Congress candidate Navtej Singh Cheema in Sultan Lodhi.

On this matter, DSP of Chandigarh Police Dilsher Singh Chandel had denied Sidhu’s statement. Now in this case on Friday, DSP Chandel has filed a defamation case against Navjot Sidhu.

Last day, Chandel has filed a case against Sidhu in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Amarinder Singh in Chandigarh, which will be heard on Monday.

Sidhu had made a controversial statement against the Punjab Police two months ago because of an election rally.

Last month, DSP Chandel had also sent a legal notice to Sidhu and asked him to apologize, but when there was no response to the notice from Sidhu, he filed a case in court.

Chandel has demanded a defamation case against Sidhu and strict action should be taken against him. Advocate Dr. Suryaprakash has filed the case on behalf of Chandel.

Earlier, a video was also released by Dilsher Singh Chandel in the case. In it, Dilsher had challenged Sidhu to move around by removing the force, even the rickshaw walla would not agree to say.

Dilsher Chandel said thanks to Sidhu sahib for shaming the force of India. Sidhu was addressing a rally in Sultanpur Lodhi on December 18.

Meanwhile, placing his hand on the shoulder of MLA Navtej Singh Cheema, Sidhu said that after getting this shaved look, pillion jacket, Gadar Varga, Thanedar Nu Khangara Mare Te O Pants Gili Kar De.

There was a controversy after this statement of Sidhu.

Releasing the video, Chandel had said that don’t get immersed in the color of politics so much that you don’t remember the martyrdom of the hero, remember a little bit, if you remember the words of your tongue.
