In order to woo the voters before the assembly elections, the BJP is carrying out a change rath yatra in the state, while the ruling Trinamool Congress has fielded ‘Didier messengers’ in its response.
On Saturday, it was flagged off by Trinamool MP and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee during a rally in Sonarpur.

The political glare released in Bengal is taking new colors. The ruling Trinamool Congress has also launched the ‘Didier Envoy’ app to promote various schemes of the state government.
People will also be able to send their problems and messages on this app, which will be seen by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself.
After launching it on February 4, more than one lakh customers have downloaded this app.
BJP taking out a five-phase rath yatra
Significantly, the BJP, which is trying to reverse the situation in Bengal, is taking out a rath yatra in five phases in the state.
Recently, the party’s national president JP Nadda started it from Navdwip in the Nadia district. It is named Parivartan Yatra. In it, a bus has been given the form of a modern chariot. It will also travel all over Bengal.
On February 9, Nadda inaugurated its third phase from Tarapith in Birbhum district, while on February 11, Home Minister Amit Shah began its fourth phase from Cooch Behar. In the final phase, it will cover Kolkata and the surrounding area.
