5G, AI, and Robotics are the foundation of future India: Artpark Innovation Summit 2022.
AI and Robotics Technology Park (Artpark), a non-profit foundation from Bengaluru, organized the ArtPark Innovation Summit 2022 today. Artpark is promoted by IISc and partner AI Foundry.
Its theme is “Connecting the Manyconnected” (“Connecting what is not connected”), Building Smart and Sustainable Rural Economy. The event was held at the historic Faculty Hall, IISc, Bangalore.
The summit discussed creating the next wave of employment growth outside India’s metro cities by connecting the country’s unconnected population with leading-edge technologies such as 5G, AI, and robotics
What was special about the summit.
Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan CN (IT, BT & ST, Higher Education, Government of Karnataka) said that AI and Robotics technology are important to create the next wave of jobs.
NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Dr. Rajiv Kumar said that 5G, AI, and Robotics are the foundation of India’s future. Under our NITI Atal Innovation Mission, we are supporting startups that are solving the critical problem of bringing connectivity to rural areas.
Dr. S Chandrashekhar, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, said, “Innovations in digital and physical connectivity are central to India’s growth and the idea of self-reliance.
Professor Rangarajan, Director, IISc, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ArtPark said that IISc is at the forefront of researching cutting-edge technologies.
Technologies such as 5G and UAVs and ArtPark are using that expertise to make India a better tomorrow.
According to research by PWC, the net economic value of the AI-powered experience economy is set to be $15.7 trillion.
It was told in the summit that art parks are necessary to give strength to self-reliant India.
After this, there were talks on the issue of Health AI for India, Connecting India with Drones, Inclusive education for the future, and Connecting India through technology.
