When the army searched for the traces of its martyrs, the heroic tales that were lost in the pages of the past were revived. It is being mentioned that the year of 1971 Indo-Pak war, the golden victory year.
Under this, the victory torch of the army is reaching the homes of the heroes. Everyone is feeling proud of the stories of his martyrdom. Many jawans of the Jammu division have given martyrdom.
When the tales of their valor are being narrated that the people of the respective area are feeling proud along with their relatives. Along with this, the spirit of youth to become soldiers is getting strengthened.
This is the first time in 50 years that the army has brought back the memories of the martyrs by coming home in this way.
Many heroes of the Jammu division have given martyrdom for the country. Many of the martyrs of the year 71 are above 80 years of age.
After a long time, many remembered the old days by holding the decades-old photos in the showcase in their hands.

Ashok Chakra winner Havildar Sarkari Lal of Bhalwal, Akhnoor, Veer Chakra winner Lance Naik Mohan Lal of Bori Drank village of Ghou Manhasa, Veer Chakra winner Mohammad Iqbal Malik of Thannamandi, Rajouri.
Havildar Ghulam Mohammad of Poonch, Akhnoor Sinduri Lal, Gullu Ram, Sahib Singh, and Balwant Singh of the region had laid down their lives in the 1971 war overcoming the enemy.
When the victory torch reached the homes of all the heroes to pay homage to the martyrs, the old memories came back. The relatives of the martyrs were emotional, but they were feeling proud.
Got Satisfied: Veeranari Karnataro Devi of Akhnoor says that her husband had given martyrdom while fighting the enemy in the Khemkaran sector.
Now the heart has got a chill by seeing Vijay Mashal in the house, that the martyrs are being remembered. Sepoy Balwant Singh, the husband of Palanwala’s Geet Kaur, had also sacrificed for the sake of the country.
Pushpa Devi, the wife of Sepoy Gullu Ram of Akhnoor, and Simro Devi, wife of Sahib Singh, say that they never even dreamed that the army would one day come home with a victory torch like this.
What could be more joyful than that the martyrs were not forgotten? It’s a great honor.
1971 War 50th Anniversary: The courage reached the seventh heaven.
Army- Army spokesperson Lt Col Devendra Anand also believes that in such a program, the courage of the martyr’s relatives, ex-servicemen, and their relatives has reached the seventh heaven.
Presently Vijay Mashal is in the Poonch district of Jammu. Salute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country.
This is the first program of its kind, where the families of the heroes and martyrs who fought the war 50 years ago are being honored.
Trees will be planted in Delhi in memory of Lance Naik Malik: Trees will be planted in Delhi in memory of Vir Chakra winner Lance Naik Mohammad Iqbal Malik of Rajouri, Jammu division.
Vijay Mashal not only honored Veeranari Sardara Begum by visiting the house of martyr Lance Naik but also told that saplings would be planted in the memory of her husband at the National War Memorial in Delhi.
Along with this, the new generation will be told about the bravery of their martyrs by putting on a plate the name of the martyr.
The soldiers who brought the victory torch of the army, while leaving, also took the soil to the martyr’s house.
