Yoshihito Nishioka won the Korean Open title, defeating Denis Shapovalov in the final.

Yoshihito Nishioka of Japan defeated fourth seed Denis Shapovalov of Canada 6-4, 7-6 to clinch the Korean Open title here on Sunday.

This is the second title of Nishioka’s career. The 27-year-old had won his first trophy at the Schengen Open in 2018. The unseeded Japanese had defeated world number two Casper Rudd in the quarterfinals.
