Xiaomi dominates the Indian smartphone market. According to the report of the International Data Corporation (IDC), 161 million smartphones were shipped in the year 2021.

This is 7 percent more than last year. Xiaomi’s total market share was around 25.1 percent.

In this way, Xiaomi again managed to become the number 1 smartphone company in India. Other companies seem to be lagging far behind in comparison to Xiaomi.

Samsung became the number 2 smartphone company.

If we talk about Samsung, then Samsung is the number-2 smartphone company in India.

Although the Samsung company seems to be standing far behind Xiaomi in terms of market share. Samsung’s market share in the year 2021 has been around 17.4 percent.

The difference between the third-ranked Vivo company and Samsung is very less. During this period, the market share of Vivo has been 15.6 percent.

Whereas with 15 percent, Realme is at the fourth position with a slight difference. While Oppo is at the fifth position with 11.1 percent.

During the same period, Realme achieved the highest growth with 25.7 percent. Oppo’s growth was 8.3 percent after Realme. Whereas Xiaomi’s growth rate decreased by 1.5 percent compared to last year.

Similarly, 6 percent growth was registered in the growth rate of Samsung and 6.1 percent in the growth rate of Vivo.

Most of these smartphones are sold.

Xiaomi shipped 40.4 million units in the year 2021. There was a decline of 1.5 percent in comparison to the previous year.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO has become the fastest growing online brand with a growth of 51 percent.

The highest number of smartphones sold in the year 2021 include Redmi 9A, Redmi 9 Power, and vanilla Redmi 9 smartphones. If we talk about Samsung, then Galaxy A22, M32, M42 got the most sales.
