Winter session should be called to discuss agricultural laws again, demand of Congress MPs of Punjab protesting at Jantar Mantar.

Monday is the 12th day of the farmers’ agitation against the Agriculture Bill for the last 11 days. This movement is taking widespread form.

In this sequence, on Tuesday, December 8, the farmers have announced Bharat Bandh, which has full support from opposition parties.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi and 10 parties from Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir have given their support to Bharat Bandh by issuing a joint statement.

DMK, Palaniswami government charged with Bharat bandh

DMK President MK Stalin said, ‘The agitating farmers in Tamil Nadu were arrested. I was also involved in the movement in Salem. Eddapady Palaniswami government is against the agitators.

He said, “The opposition has already said that we will support and join the Bharat Bandh on 8 December”.

Congress MPs are demanding a Winter session of Parliament

Reaching Jantar Mantar, Congress MPs started a sit-in and are demanding a winter session of Parliament to discuss the issue of farmers.

MP Manish Tiwari said, ‘The session should be called, it should be discussed and the anti-farmer laws should be withdrawn. The government is ignoring the session. It is against democracy. ‘

TMC with farmers but will not support bandh

Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy (TMC MP Saugata Roy) said, ‘The party is with agitating farmers but will not support the Bharat Bandh in West Bengal. It is against our principles. ‘

Hotels and resorts will remain closed in Punjab

In view of the India bandh, Punjab’s hotels and resorts will be closed on Wednesday, December 8. Under this, the booking of earlier marriage and other parties has also been canceled.

Mayawati and Kejriwal in support

It also includes the name of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP supremo Mayawati. Apart from this, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met the agitating farmers today.

The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, has distanced itself from the Bharat Bandh on 8 December called by the agitating farmers.

The reason behind this has been given to the political parties involved by the Indian Farmers Union.

The Indian Farmers Association says that farmer organizations should democratically put their point before the government.

Demonstration will continue: Faridkot district head

District head of Faridkot, Binder Singh Gole Wala said, ‘All are supporting us in the bandh tomorrow. Everyone is asking to close the market on their own, all the people are ready for this shutdown.

They know that the farmers are right, so they are supporting us. There will be a discount on essential services during the bandh.

Earlier, he had said, ‘No one should come to the decision in our favor on the 9th, if it comes then it is very good and if it does not come then we did not come thinking that we will go back home.

We will continue to struggle here. We will not retreat until we win. ‘

Sixth round talks of center-farmers on 9 December

In fact, the fifth round of talks between the Center and the farmers on Saturday failed. The farmers were also proposed to amend the bill by the government but they were not ready to accept it.

Farmers want complete withdrawal of these bills. Now on Thursday, 9 December, the sixth round of talks is going to end the deadlock between the Center and the farmers.
