West Indies squad announced for ICC T20 World Cup, these players got a place.

West Indies have announced their squad for the ICC T20 World Cup. Veteran batsman Chris Gayle and all-rounder Dwayne Bravo have been included in the 15-man squad by the Windies board.

The Windies Board announced the team by tweeting. Kieron Pollard will lead the team. This World Cup is to be organized in the UAE and Oman from October 17 to November 14, hosted by the BCCI.

West Indies, considered a contender to win the T20 World Cup, have announced a team full of experienced players.

Chris Gayle, considered the world’s most explosive opener, has been given a place in this team.

At the same time, Kieron Pollard, who entered an ICC tournament for the first time since 2013, has been given the honor of the team.

Dwayne Bravo, Lendl Simmons who has been part of the T20 World Cup-winning team in the past as well.

It is believed that this tournament could be the last international tournament for many of these players.

West Indies team has been placed in Group 1. Australia, England, and South Africa have been placed in this group. Apart from this, two qualifier teams will also be part of this group.

West Indies team will start their World Cup campaign against England on 23 October. West Indies team is the current champion of the tournament.

West Indies won the title for the second time by defeating England in a thrilling match in the 2016 World Cup final.

Rashid Khan left the captaincy of the Afghanistan T20 team, this player was suddenly made the new captain

There was a sudden turmoil in Afghanistan cricket on Thursday when captain Rashid Khan surprised everyone with his decision to step down, shortly after the ICC T20 squad was announced.

He said that his opinion was not taken in the selection of the team and that is why he does not want to continue in his post.

After Rashid relinquished the captaincy, the Afghanistan Cricket Board decided to hand over this responsibility to former captain Mohammad Nabi.
