US-China Trade War: the US imposes new sanctions on China, ban on the export of five items. The US has taken another step in action against China. Cotton, hair products, computer components, and some textiles coming from there have been banned, citing forced labor. The US has imposed a ban on products being made by forcibly laboring people of the Uygar community living in China’s Xinjiang province.

On the decision of this ban, the US said that the Chinese government is abusing the human rights of the Uygar community living in Xinjiang, they are being exploited and that is why the decision has been taken regarding the products manufactured here.

Apart from sending Uigar Muslims to detention camps, interfering with their religious activities, China is being criticized worldwide for their exploitation. It is noteworthy that the US has released a new webpage to shed light on the exploitation and oppression of Uygar Muslims and other minority communities in China’s Xinjiang province.

The US State Department said in a tweet, “We have released a new webpage, through which the Chinese Communist Party’s atrocities against Uigars living in Xinjiang and other minority communities will be exposed.” The United States is committed to leading the global fight against such human rights abuses. ‘

This webpage has been released at a time when the conflict between the US and China has increased due to the South China Sea and Corona epidemic. The Chinese government not only monitors them but has also imposed many strict restrictions on them by violating human rights. Millions of Uygars have also been kept in custody.
