US and Japan’s large military exercise commences amidst Chinese activities, 46 thousand soldiers involved.
In view of the increasing military activities in the Chinese territory, Japan and the United States started the exercise of the Air Force, Navy, and Army, known as ‘Keen Sort’, near Japan from Monday.
This is the first major military exercise since Yoshihide Suga took over as Japan’s Prime Minister last month. Yoshihide vowed that he would continue to strengthen the army to counter China.
Indeed, China asserts Japan-controlled islands in the East China Sea. ‘Keen Sword’ is a military exercise held every two years. Dozens of warships, hundreds of aircraft, and 46 thousand soldiers are taking part in this.
It will run until November 5 and will include cyber and electronic warfare training for the first time.
General Koji Yamazaki, Japan’s top military commander on the Kaga helicopter career in the south of Japan, said, “The security situation around Japan has become critical. It has given us an opportunity to show the strength of the Japan-US alliance. ‘
China furious over arms supply to Taiwan, now these American companies will be banned
The conflict between the US and China is not taking its name. After several tough US decisions, China has now retaliated by calling for a ban on American companies including Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
The news agency AP quoted Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian as saying that China was angry with American companies for supplying arms to Taiwan, which would cause it to impose sanctions.
Zhao Lijian said that China’s move would also affect Raytheon. However, he did not provide details of which and what restrictions could be imposed. He did not even say when China would impose this ban.
Let us tell that China and Taiwan were divided in the 1949 civil war. Currently, there is no diplomatic relations between them. At the same time, China claims that the island with democratic leadership is part of its mainland.
