Upcoming movies on unique stories of Indian Army: Gorkha.

Gurkha will be a film based on the life of the great war hero Major General Ian Cardozo. Akshay Kumar will be in the lead role in the film and the film will be directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.

Major General Ian Cardozo is a former Indian Army officer who became the first war-disabled officer in the Indian Army to command a battalion and a brigade.

Let me tell you, Ian Cardozo was the Major General of the Fifth Gurkha Rifles. In the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971, Ian Cardozo showed his indomitable courage and valor.

There was a situation during the war when Ian Cardozo himself had to amputate his leg.

In fact, in an operation during the war, Ian Cardozo’s foot fell on the landmine and there was an explosion as soon as he hit the landmine.

When Ian Cardozo learned that his leg was badly injured after the blast, he had amputated his leg without caring that the leg was amputated.

It will be an aerial action film. Which will be directed by Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan will be the lead. This is the third film of the two together.

During the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, Sam Manekshaw, displaying amazing leadership ability, broke Pakistan into 2 pieces and a new country named Bangladesh came on the world map.

Now a biopic of Sam Manekshaw is being made, which was announced long back.

Pippa.

Pippa is an upcoming Hindi film based on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Lead actor Ishaan Khatter will play the role of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta.

The film is to be directed by Raja Krishna Menon and will release in late 2021.

Tejas.

Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewada, the film is RSVP’s second film on the Indian Armed Forces after ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, which applauds the Army and inspires the nation at large.

Kangana Ranaut is in the lead role in Tejas. The film will be released on October 5 next year on the occasion of Dussehra in 2022.

Major.

Major is an upcoming Bollywood biopic thriller drama film based on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.

Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Sai Manjrekar will be seen in lead roles in this film, the film is being directed by Shashi Kiran. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and later dubbed into Malayalam.

Captain India.

Kartik Aaryan will play the role of a pilot in Captain India, directed by Hansal Mehta. The story of the film is inspired by India’s biggest and most successful rescue mission from a war-torn country.
