UP Government To SC: There Will Be No Kanwar Yatra
UP government to the Supreme Court – In view of Corona, there will be no Kanwar Yatra this year too.
The UP government has filed its reply in the Supreme Court regarding the Kanwar Yatra.
The Uttar Pradesh government told the Supreme Court that in view of Corona, this year also the Kanwar Yatra has been postponed.
There will be no Kavad Yatra this year. The Supreme Court has closed the matter in view of the reply of the UP government.
The court has also said that strict action should be taken if it is violated. People’s right to life is paramount.
Let us inform you that this year Kanwar Yatra has been canceled in Uttar Pradesh. Additional Chief Secretary (Information) Navneet Sehgal had given this information on Saturday.
He said that after the appeal of the State Government, the Kanwar Sanghas decided to cancel the Yatra. The Kanwar Yatra was to begin on July 25.
The month of Sawan starting from 25th July
The holy month of Sawan is going to start from 25th July. The month of Sawan is considered very important for Lord Shiva and his worshippers.
It is believed that Lord Shiva is very pleased by worshiping Lord Shiva in the month of Sawan.

This Kanwar is continuously carried on his shoulder during the yatra, this yatra is called Kanwar yatra and the travelers are called kanwariya.
