Underworld don Abu Salem appeared in CBI’s special court and said – I am innocent: Lucknow.

Underworld don Abu Salem’s statement has been recorded in the CBI Special Court in the case of a fake passport. August 4 has been fixed for the next hearing of the matter.

Salem was brought from Taloja Jail in Navi Mumbai to appear in a special CBI court amid tight security.

Underworld don Abu Salem was produced by the police in the court of CBI Special Judge Samridhi Mishra.

Abu Salem’s statement was recorded in the matter of making a passport with a fake name, and address. In the statement, Abu Salem has declared himself innocent.

The testimony from the prosecution side in the case is already over. The statements of Abu Salem were recorded to know the side of the accused.

Let us tell you that the accused Abu Salem Abdul Qayoom Ansari had applied for a passport in the name of Aqeel Ahmed Azmi by forgery in 1993 with his accomplices Parvez Alam and Sameera Jumani from Lucknow Passport Office.

Along with the application, fake documents were submitted for name, address, and got passport on these documents. This fake passport was used by Abu Salem as the real one.

The investigation of this case was given to the CBI. After investigation, the CBI filed a charge sheet against the accused Abu Salem under Section 471 and Passport Act.

After taking cognizance of the charge sheet, the court framed charges against Abu Salem on June 5, 2009.

After which the prosecution recorded the testimony of its witnesses, after the prosecution’s testimony was over, the statement of accused Abu Salem was recorded today.

The court has fixed August 4 for the next hearing of the case. Abu Salem was arrested and brought to India under the extradition treaty from Portugal.

There was panic due to the information about the bomb in the Indigo plane, bomb disposal squad reached Patna airport

IndiGo 6e2126 flight from Patna to Delhi was immediately evacuated after receiving information about the bomb. A bomb disposal squad has been called to the spot and it is investigating.

But so far no suspicious object has been reported. This information was given by Manavjit Singh Dhillon, SSP of Patna, Patna.

Actually, Indigo’s aircraft number 6e2126 was about to fly to Delhi at 8.20 pm in the late evening. A total of 134 passengers were on board the plane.

Shortly before the plane took off, a young man who had boarded the plane said that he had a bomb. On hearing this, there was an atmosphere of panic among the passengers of the plane.

The security team deployed at the airport and the CISF team immediately took off all the passengers from the plane and the bomb disposal squad was called at Patna airport.

The bomb disposal squad investigated the Patna airport intensively. Simultaneously, the baggage of the passengers was also checked at Patna Airport.

All the passengers who were on the plane were checked for their belongings. The Bomb Disposal Squad also checked the plane. At present, there is no news of any suspicious object is found.

The young man who had said that he had a bomb, has been kept for safety’s sake. Passengers have been taken off the plane and taken to a safe place.

A team of senior officials of Patna Police has also reached Patna airport and the security of the entire airport has been tightened.

The aircraft is being checked at Patna airport. Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon said that the aircraft will take off only after a thorough investigation.
