Under Unlock-4, 13 special trains from Tamil Nadu start operating today: Indian Railway. Since the relaxation of restrictions, Indian Railways has started operating 13 special trains from Tamil Nadu from today. Explain that Tamil Nadu is the third most infected state in the country. The number of infected people has crossed 4 lakh 57 thousand, while the number of deaths has reached 7 thousand 748.

40 pairs of new trains will be operational from September 12

Earlier, Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav had said that Indian Railways will run 40 pairs of new special trains from September 12, for which the reservation will start from September 10. These trains will be in addition to the 230 special trains already being run.

With this, the total number of special trains running on rail tracks will be 310. The trains that have been announced to run include Varanasi Vande Bharat Express, Lucknow Shatabdi, and Gorakhpur and Prayagraj Humsafar Express.

Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav said that we are constantly keeping an eye on which trains have a long waiting list. For every train in which this will happen, another train (named it Clone Train) will be run. This clone train will run before the actual train to accommodate most passengers. The states that demand to run trains for examinations or anything else will also be met.

Workers’ special trains were run from May 1

Explain that for the workers trapped in the corona virus lockdown, the Railways had run special labor trains from May 1. Through these, workers from across the country were brought to their homes. Railways had said that 85 percent of the expenses of labor trains were borne by the Center. 15 percent of the expenses were paid by the states as rent.
