Two Local Terrorists Of Albadar Killed In Pulwama Encounter

Two local terrorists of Albadar were killed in the Pulwama encounter, they were involved in the killings of migrant laborers.

In the ongoing late-night encounter in Kashmir Valley’s district Pulwama, the security forces killed two local terrorists of Al-Badar in the early hours of today.

Confirming the killing of two terrorists, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that both of them were involved in the killings and attacks of migrant laborers in Pulwama in March-April.

Two AK rifles and other ammunition were also recovered from the encounter site.

While revealing the identity of both the terrorists, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the names of the terrorists who died are Ejaz Hafiz and Shahid Ayub.

Both were affiliated with the terrorist organization al-Badr.

Not only this but both were involved in the killing of migrant laborers in Pulwama in the month of March-April 2022. Due to their encounter, the terrorist organization has suffered a lot.

He said that a jawan of the security forces has also been injured in the encounter that has been going on since Wednesday night. He is undergoing treatment and his condition is better.

Police said that the encounter started late last Wednesday evening. Security forces received information that three terrorists were hiding in the Mitrigam area of ​​Pulwama.

Two local terrorists of Albadar were killed: Earlier it was being told that two Pakistani terrorists are involved in this incident.

On receiving the information, SOG, Army, and CRPF personnel reached the village and started cordoning off the area to search for the terrorists.

In the afternoon, some people saw the terrorists entering a locality through a field.

As soon as the soldiers started siegeing the village, the terrorists hiding in one place opened fire on the soldiers to leave the hideout so that the siege could be broken. A young man was injured in this.

Other soldiers, making arrangements to take their injured companions to a safe place, responded to the bullets of the terrorists with bullets.

Local sources said that there was continuous firing from both sides till 5.30 pm on Wednesday. After this, the firing from the terrorists stopped completely.

After sunset, the terrorists did not fire any bullets till quarter to eight o’clock at the night.

Meanwhile, when the soldiers started installing floodlights to monitor the hideout of the terrorists, the terrorists started firing again. The soldiers also retaliated.

Meanwhile, about two dozen people residing in houses adjacent to the hideout of the terrorists were shifted to safer places amid a hail of bullets.

However, during this time the security forces also gave the terrorists a chance to surrender several times.

In the early hours of today, once again the security forces asked the terrorists to lay down their arms, but when they did not agree, both the terrorists were killed one after the other.

When the slain terrorists were identified, both of them turned out to be locals.
