Two Corona Vaccines May Come By Early Next Year: WHO

Two corona vaccines may come by early next year: WHO. World Health Organization (WHO) chief scientist Soumya Swaminathan has said that the Covid-19 epidemic underscored the importance of investment in public health and primary health services.

Swaminathan said that we may have at least two vaccines of corona virus available early next year.

Addressing the 15th JRD Tata Smriti Lecture from Geneva, the head scientist of the organization mentioned the impact of Kovid-19 on education, violence against women, etc.

He said, ‘I have known in the last nine-10 months that investment in public health and primary health services is very important. We see examples of countries where investment in primary health services has paid off over the decades.

On the contrary, you have high-income countries, where the situation is quite extreme and they are not able to take any necessary steps.

Also, Swaminathan said that the vaccination for the corona virus may be available early next year. He said, ‘We are working on the vaccine. We hope to have at least two vaccines in the early months of 2021, which can prove to be safe and effective.

We can start using these vaccines in the most vulnerable and high risk populations.

Let us know that at present, more than 150 countries are engaged in preparing Corona vaccine. Some vaccine trials are in the final stages. In such a case, WHO’s inference can be proved correct. Meanwhile, a gloomy news has come about the Corona vaccine.

A volunteer involved in a trial of the Corona vaccine in Brazil has died suddenly. Brazilian health agency Avisa announced this on Wednesday.

He said that a volunteer involved in a clinical trial of the Corona vaccine being developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford has died.

Significantly, at the end of last year, the corona virus, originated from Wuhan, China, has so far infected more than 41 million people around the world. At the same time, the total number of people who died due to this infection has crossed 11 lakh 30 thousand 400.

The figure is released every day by Johns Hopkins University in the United States. Here, the condition of coronavirus in India seems to be improving gradually. According to the latest data from Corona, the recovery rate in the country is now rapidly increasing to 90 percent.

With the decline in new corona cases, recovery in corona is improving in the country due to the recovery rate. So far, about 6.9 million people in the country have recovered from Corona.

According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, new cases of corona have come down in the last 24 hours in the country. There have been 55,838 new cases of the corona.

During this time 702 people have also died in the country. With this, the total figure of Corona has crossed 77 lakhs.
