According to the information received from the police, this morning, they got information from reliable sources that any terrorist incident in the Kupwara market can happen today.

As soon as the information was received, a special team of police reached the market along with other security personnel and set up blocks to search for the suspects.

While entering the market, the police stopped the two youths for questioning. The expressions on their faces put security personnel in doubt. On questioning, they told that they are going to the market for shopping.

The youths revealed their identity when questioned by security forces. Among them, a 24-year-old Jahangir Ahmed Hajam is a shopkeeper and another 32-year-old Abdul Hameed Hajam is a driver.

Both are the sons of Mangata Hajam, a resident of Khairpora Tangdar. Police sources said that there was a clear look of nervousness on their faces.

On the basis of suspicion, when the security forces searched them, six grenades were recovered from them. The police arrested both as soon as they got the grenade.

Police said that these two brothers could be the underground workers of a terrorist organization.
