Twitter-Musk Deal: Musk also filed an application in court against Twitter’s lawsuit; the Hearing schedule was released.

The legal battle between microblogging site Twitter and the world’s richest man Elon Musk will be decided in five days.

After Musk canceled the $44 billion deal, Twitter filed a lawsuit against him.

The Delaware Court of Justice has released the schedule for the court’s arguments on this case. This trial will run from October 17 to 21.

On the other hand, Elon Musk’s legal team has also filed a letter opposing Twitter’s lawsuit. However, this is a confidential letter and its information has not been revealed yet.

It can be made public after the order of the judge. Earlier this week, Musk filed an application in Delaware Chancery Court saying that Twitter was not cooperating in the pre-trial.

Musk’s lawyers had said that Twitter was not even providing the document and that there should be no objection to giving it.

Twitter-Musk Deal: Musk was shocked by the trial in October.

Let us tell you that Twitter was demanding to start the hearing in this matter as soon as possible. Twitter had applied to start the trial in September.

At the same time, Musk wanted the hearing to start in February next year. But the court has dealt a big blow to Musk by keeping the hearing in October.

Twitter says they have no problem with the trial in October if it’s only for 5 days. Twitter was demanding to fast-track this trial. In such a situation, this decision can be seen as a success for Twitter.

Twitter’s lawyers say they will only take 4 days to prove that Musk is unnecessarily using spam accounts to pull out of the deal.

How the controversy started.

Elon Musk announced the purchase of Twitter for $ 44 billion. The deal was also approved by Twitter’s stakeholders, shareholders, and other relevant institutions.

But on May 13, Musk put the deal on hold. He said that Twitter is not giving him accurate information about spam and bot accounts. Let us tell you that on April 13, Musk announced the purchase of Twitter.

Musk gave this deal on July 8, citing a lack of satisfactory information from Twitter. After this, Twitter chairman Brett Taylor decided to take legal action against Musk.

Twitter had told the market regulator in May that the number of fake accounts on Twitter is 5 percent of the total accounts. However, Musk was not satisfied with this answer.
