Tribute paid to Keshubhai Patel, PM Modi on Gujarat visit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Gujarat on a two-day visit.
Directly from the airport, he reached the residence of former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel in Gandhinagar and paid his last tribute to him.
PM Narendra Modi also met Mahesh and Naresh Kanodia’s family members who had died recently. Mahesh Kanodia was a musician from Gujarat and former BJP MP, while Naresh Kanodia was an actor.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from today (Friday). On the 145th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, Modi will salute the National Integration Parade and pay homage to him at the Statue of Unity.

To develop this area as a holistic tourism destination, Jungle Safari, Ekta Mol, Children’s Nutrition Park, Unity Glow Garden, Cactus Garden, Ekta Nursery, Butter Fly Park, Eco Tourism, Cruise, River with 1 billion light decorations Rafting etc. have been developed.
Prime Minister Modi will take the salute of the National Integration Parade on October 31, along with Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
Modi will lay the foundation stone for 4 new projects, including an ideal village of 400 houses. In Kevadia to inaugurate the water aerodrome built at pond number 3, Modi will also inaugurate a seaplane starting in Gujarat for the first time.
Rs 9000 crore spent in tribal dominated expansion
The Gujarat government will spend Rs 9000 crore in tribal-dominated expansion of 100 km radius of the Statue of Unity from 2020 to 2022. A jungle safari is being developed on 375 acres, in which 1100 species of birds and 100 species of wild animals will be kept in the country.
Two-storey unity goods of 35000 square feet will also be constructed in which items manufactured with handicraft and workmanship of various states of the country can be purchased.
There will be a Children’s Nutrition Park and mini train in 35000 square meters to provide nutritional information to children through sports and toys.
The Eco-Tourism Park, covered with more than 1.25 lakh trees spread over a hundred acres, will be developed to provide the tourists with the convenience of nature.
