Trading in Tesla, Google shares started from today on NSE IFSC, know how you will be able to buy stocks.

Through NSE, now Indian investors will be able to trade in the stocks of Google, Apple, and Tesla.

NSE International Exchange (NSE IFSC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), has announced trading in select US stocks.

This trading will happen through the NSE IFSC platform. Trading, clearance, settlement, and holding in the stocks will be done under the regulatory structure of the IFSC Authority.

The exchange has shared the list of NSE IFSC, which states that trading has started from Thursday, March 3.

It includes 8 US stocks – Alphabet (Google), Amazon, Tesla, Meta Platform (Facebook), Microsoft, Apple, Netflix, and Walmart.

Not only this, the date of commencement of trading in other American companies- Berkshire Hathaway, Adobe, Mastercard, Johnson & Johnson, Wells Fargo will be informed through a separate circular.

Investors will be able to keep depository receipts in their Demat accounts opened in Gift City and take advantage of corporate activities related to stocks.

Trading in Tesla, Google shares started: Payment is on the concept of Reserve Bank.

This initiative is a first of its kind in IFSC, where Indian retail investors will be able to make payments on the NSE IFSC platform under the Liberalized Remittance Scheme (LRS) limit set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Trading will be cheaper for investors.

According to the NSE IFSC, this route makes the entire process of international investment easy and low-cost for Indian retail investors.

Investors will be provided with the option to trade as compared to stocks traded in US markets, making this trading affordable for them.

FII sell-off continues in Indian markets.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs), on the other hand, continued their sell-off in the Indian stock markets and sold shares worth Rs 4,338.94 crore on a net basis on Wednesday, according to exchange data.
