Pakistani business in the UK seized assets worth 95 crores, action on not disclosing source

The government has confiscated about one crore pounds (Rs 95 crore) of immovable property of Pakistani-origin businessman in Britain. The businessman was unable to disclose the source of his property, forcing his property to be seized under the UK’s Unknown Employment Order (UWO).

This information has been given by the National Crime Agency (NCA). British agencies suspect 40-year-old Mansoor Manni Mahmood Hussain, who lives in Leeds city, that he is involved in black business. That is why the UWO constituted to take action on organized crime has taken this action.

This is the first action of such seizure of agency. Mansoor Mani’s eight properties are currently confiscated by NCA. The transfer and sale of these assets to someone else is prohibited with immediate effect.

Manni’s nine other immovable properties are also under investigation. It has also been learned that Mani has agreed to dedicate 45 immovable properties to NCA.

But he does not want any legal action against himself in return. All these properties are suspected to be purchased with money raised from crime. The money invested in these assets can also belong to someone else for whom Manni has been used as a piece.

Many of Manni’s criminals have also been contacted during the investigation. Manni is known in the UK for his Shan-o-Shaukat lifestyle. He has appeared in many photos with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and Prince Harry’s wife and actress Megan Merkel.

Megan’s photos with Manni are from her wedding with Prince. Apart from this, photos have also surfaced of many of Manni’s personalities.

NCA Director General Grammy Bigger said that this case is an example of how powerful UWO is. It is able to seize black money earnings. This law will prevent the investment of illegal money in Britain.

He said that property worth crores of rupees earned through crime is under investigation in Britain, that too can be confiscated soon. This is necessary to protect the UK economy from any ill effects.
