The Stock, Market Opened With Gains, Sensex Rose By 305 Points

The stock market opened with gains, the Sensex rose by 305 points. The stock market opened higher on the second trading day of the week. At 9:18 am, the Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex was up 305.18 points at 38,487.26.

The National Stock Exchange index Nifty was trading at 11,354.95 with an increase of 84.80 points. Out of 50 stocks of the Nifty, 45 were trading in green mark and 5 in red mark.

On Monday, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex gained 0.37 per cent to 141.51 points, closing at 38182.08. On the other hand, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed up 0.54 percent at 11274.70 with a rise of 60.65 points.

Today, ICICI Bank, Zee Limited, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Hindalco, JSW Steel and SBI were among the top gainers. On the other hand, Shree Cement, Titan, Infosys, Grasim and Bharti Airtel shares opened.

There was an increase in markets across the world on Monday. The US market Dow Jones was up 357.96 points at 27,791.40, up 1.30 percent. At the same time, Nasdaq was down 42.63 points at 10,968.40, down 0.39 percent. Talking of S&P, it closed up 3.19 points at 3,360.47, up 0.27 percent.

Meanwhile

There has been a significant fall in the gold futures price on Tuesday. The futures price of gold on October 5, 2020 was down 0.75 per cent, or Rs 412, at Rs 54,534 per 10 grams on MCX exchange on Tuesday morning at 10.26 am.

Apart from this, the futures price of gold on December 4, 2020, was down by 0.81 percent or Rs 446 at the time of trending at Rs 54,720 per 10 grams. Internationally also, there has been a decline in gold futures on Tuesday morning.

Along with gold, silver prices have also seen a huge drop on Tuesday. On September 4, 2020 silver futures on MCX were trending at Rs 74,490 per kg with a sharp fall of 1.20 per cent or Rs 904 at 10.38 am on Tuesday morning. Apart from this, the futures price of silver on December 4, 2020 was currently trading at Rs 77,299 per kg with a steep fall of 1.22 per cent or Rs 957.
