At present, 16 lorry quarries and 21 cattle cart quarries have been given environmental clearance to operate, said Minister Duraimurugan.

At the government sand depots, it was reported that the public can buy sand by paying not only the additional bank counters but also Net Banking, Debit Card, and UPI phone online.
