The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Monday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of ​​former minister Bikram Majithia.

After this, the sword of arrest was hanging on Majithia. It is learned that Bikram Majithia is preparing to move the Supreme Court against the High Court’s decision.

Let us tell you that there was a stir in the politics of Punjab last year when an FIR was registered against former minister and Akali Dal leader Bikram Majithia on the basis of the 2018 status report of investigation of drugs racket.

Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal said that the ruling party is taking out political rivalry. There is a lot of talk about the arrest of Bikram Majithia.

On January 11, Bikram Majithia was granted interim bail by the High Court in this case. He was asked to appear before the SIT probing the case.

Majithia had appeared before the SIT on January 12 for questioning. He had applied for anticipatory bail in the High Court which was rejected on January 24.
