As of now, the Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rains in Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Deoband, Assandh, and adjoining areas during the next 2 hours. The department says that there will be thunderstorms in these areas.

Due to heavy rains in Mumbai on Tuesday night, waterlogging situation has arisen due to which the local train services have been badly affected. This rain, which started on Tuesday afternoon, has also affected local train services.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has declared a holiday for all private and government establishments except the emergency services after excessive water logging and heavy rains in many parts of the city.

People are suffering due to excessive waterlogging at Bhendi Bazaar, Gol Temple, Nana Chowk, Mumbai Central Junction, Bavla Compound, JJ Junction, Hindmata, Kala Chowki, Sarathi Bar, and Worli Sea Face. Work is going on for the drainage of water in all areas.
